Making lasting change in the community

We invite you to become more deeply involved in United Way’s mission.

United Way’s Impact Network provides passionate individuals the opportunity to make lasting change in our community.

Thousands of Rhode Islanders unite as the Impact Network of United Way. Each year, they give gifts of all sizes to United Way’s Community Impact Fund because they see a future where every individual in each community has equal opportunity for justice and prosperity.

As a member of our Impact Network, you join with others to shape change by helping to influence and guide our work. You don’t just help people; you play an active role in transforming how they are helped.

Unite for change with the Impact Network.

LABOR & UNITED WAY PARTNERSHIP
United Way of Rhode Island partners with organized labor to advance economic stability, support working families, and strengthen communities across the state. Through collaboration with union leaders and members, United Way connects workers to critical resources, mobilizes collective action, and invests in programs that improve lives.

GEORGE NEE LABOR SOLIDARITY FUND
Formally approved by vote at the AFL-CIO Convention in October, the George Nee Labor Solidarity Fund will launch in April and has $76,000 raised to date. The Fund strengthens the partnership between United Way of Rhode Island and the labor community by supporting union members and families during times of hardship or labor action, providing annual mini-grants to labor-affiliated nonprofits, and investing in community infrastructure that connects union households to resources and strengthens solidarity statewide.
